I thought I was going to have loads of time to craft this summer, but no….

My 16 year old has needed me to drive her to her work and drivers ed. That has taken up more time than I ever imagined.

We also adopted a puppy. Wow! Puppies take up a lot of time. Lots of training. And of course, I don’t dare take my eyes off him because that’s when he finds something to chew!

Also, just like when my kids were little, my goal is to fire him out each day so he sleeps quietly in his crate at night.

Plus I have been busy with the animal rescue. We had our biggest fund raiser, a golf outing and charity dinner. We raised lots of money. I have also had some foster dogs this summer. I cannot believe how quickly it all goes.

I did make some Barbie keychains because… well Barbie… it was THE thing this summer.

Here are a few other things I made this summer… some will go in my Etsy shop. Others will be going to others will be stocked in A Book Place in downtown Riverhead.
