At my last coffee and cards afternoon, we made cards using Stampin’ Up’s Light the Candles card kit. I love the colors in this kit, and the cards look so cheerful. I also love the fact that they have popped up layers. At my card class, we made two of each design following the directions, but then we made two of each design as shaker cards. 2024 was the year of shaker cards for me. I had never made shaker cards prior to last year, but I am hooked! Have you made shaker cards before?
This kit comes with everything you need to make 8 beautiful cards. The glue dots are a little challenging to use, so if you have a glue tape runner like Stampin’ Up’s Stampin’ Seal, I would recommend using them instead. I also think the take your pick tool makes card assembly much easier. The instructions are all included, but if you are a visual learner, and prefer videos, I have made a couple of videos on how to make these cards. Take a look.
