I’ve spent the last week playing with the Extraordinary Flora Bundle, and every time I sit down at my craft table, I discover a new way to use it.
At first glance, it looks like a beautiful floral bundle with coordinating stamps and dies. But what really makes this collection stand out is the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape. This isn’t just decorative tape—it’s a crafting powerhouse!
One of my favorite things about this Washi tape is how many different surfaces it can be applied to. You can place it on white cardstock for bright, vibrant florals. Try it on colored cardstock and watch the colors take on a whole new look. Apply it to vellum for a soft, delicate effect that’s perfect for elegant cards.

Of course, the coordinating dies make creating floral embellishments incredibly easy. Simply apply the Washi tape to cardstock, run it through your die-cutting machine, and you’ll have a collection of gorgeous flowers and foliage ready to use on all your projects.
Mixing and Matching Bundles
The first card I created combines the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with the Sweet Blooms Bundle. The bright yellow background creates a cheerful, sunny feel while the floral die cuts add pops of pink, purple, and green. The large “bloom” sentiment ties everything together beautifully.
I love how the Washi tape florals instantly create a focal point. There’s no stamping, coloring, or fussy cutting required—just beautiful flowers ready to arrange on your card front.
This card is a great reminder that products don’t have to stay within their own suites. Some of my favorite projects come from mixing products from different collections.

Creating Elegant Frames
For my second card, I used the Washi tape florals to create a floral frame around an arched opening. The soft florals cascade around the edge of the arch, drawing the eye directly to the sentiment.
This design has a completely different feel from the bright and bold “Bloom” card, even though they both use the same Washi tape. That’s what I love about this product—it can be whimsical, elegant, bright, soft, modern, or traditional depending on how you use it.

Adding a Touch of Shine
One of my favorite experiments was embossing over the Washi tape. I stamped directly onto the floral images using VersaMark watermark ink, added gold embossing powder, and heat set it.
The gold outlines add a beautiful touch of elegance and really highlight the details in the flowers and leaves. On my Congratulations card, the gold embossing creates a sophisticated look that would be perfect for weddings, anniversaries, graduations, or any special celebration.
The best part? The embossed florals look completely different from the original Washi tape images, giving you even more ways to stretch your supplies.

Stamp It, Emboss It, Color It
I also experimented with stamping the coordinating images, heat embossing them, and coloring them by hand. This technique creates yet another look and allows you to customize the colors to match any project.
It’s amazing how one bundle can produce so many different styles simply by changing the technique.

Why I Love This Bundle
The Extraordinary Flora Bundle has quickly become one of those products that keeps surprising me. Every time I think I’ve tried everything, another idea pops into my head.
Whether you’re:
- Die cutting floral clusters
- Creating custom DSP backgrounds
- Layering Washi tape on vellum
- Heat embossing over the images
- Coloring stamped versions
- Mixing it with other bundles
there’s always another creative possibility waiting to be explored.

If you’re looking for a product that offers incredible versatility and helps you create beautiful cards quickly, the Extraordinary Flora Bundle is definitely worth adding to your craft room.
I’d love to know—which of these cards is your favorite? The bright and cheerful Bloom card, the elegant arched birthday card, or the gold-embossed Congratulations card?
